Some might not buy into this, but some time around the time Dural caught a intermediate pass for a first down (2 plays before Diarse TD), I saw the swagger return. I haven't seen that type of feeling from an LSU team since 2011. You could see it flow through the whole team from there to the Diarse TD to the Mills interception. This team might lose 4 games this year, but this group of kids will be special over the next 3-4 years.

You mentioned the next 3 or 4 years, I was thinking about how in 2 years when we go up to GB, this #2 recruiting class will only be in their 3rd year. Meaning none of them will be in the NFL. We should be straight for the revenge game. Hopefully this 2015 class will be just as sick, because those guys will not jump to the NFL early, either.

Biggest thing I came away with is this team is YOUNG almost everywhere - cumulative of early draft entries will really be felt this year.

My take is we got past a tough team and have 4 games to work out the rookie mistakes and gel as a team.

Evan Washington was replaced by Hawkins a little before that. Not sure when Washington checked in, but he didn't look too great, and Hawkins improved out line play tremendously at that point.

I hate to bash kids, but Washington and Gordon looked bad in that game, and I hope they can step up BC we need them.

My hope was to get through this game with a W and no injuries. As far as I know we didn't have anyone go down. It's a young team and getting past that first big test is huge. Doing it in the fashion they did will only make them stronger when SEC play starts. Continue to grow the next 2 weeks and take the next step against an improved MSU team.

The guys that put themselves before the team and got suspended, hopefully got the message. You will be punished and you will be replaced. So get your mind right and rejoin the fight.

Onward and upward.

I saw young boys starting to grow into men. They kept fighting. They are young but have the potential to win any game.

Young players dealt with adversity and fought hard, regained their composure and won. This will help their confidence tremendously.
