Why did ESPN feel the need to cut in the LSU/Florida State games last night to give us constant updates on the Oregon/South Dakota game? For fricks sake Oregon was playing South Dakota not a Top 5 team.

But no, everytime Oregon scored we needed an in-game update. Who gives a shite? They were playing South Dakota. But ESPN treats it like they were playing a Top 5 team and "OMG Oregon Offense! WOW! Look at what they did! Unstoppable!"

I don't remember them cutting into the LSU game to show Oregon highlights one single time

Not as bad as their obsession with Lane Kiffin and his sideline act. He got more camera time than anybody yesterday

Oregon is the Nike flagship school. Nike advertises a shite ton on Disney owned networks. Pretty simple to understand their Oregon love IMO.

Me either. Rece Davis's sarcastic, nasal drivel was enough to make me puke though.

This.

I watched every second of the LSU-Wisconsin game and never saw the first Oregon highlight.

If this your first season watching football on TV? This just in, they update scores of other games in progress involving the top rankled teams. Oregon is ranked #3 and was one of the handful of games going on.

It's the same story every year. Oregon is closely tied with Phil Knight of Nike. Nike gives Oregon and ESPN lots if money. They dress them up in dumb arse outfits and run the score up on a bunch of shite teams. They are the best thing since sliced bread. They play a team with a pulse on defense and lose. They then usually drop a game to Stanford or USC. Rinse and repeat.

I really wish we could go back in time and see all the silly conspiracy type comments like this. ESPN covers Oregon because they are good. They are 47-6 the last 4 years. They have won 2 conference titles and 2 BCS bowls. They have been 1 of the top programs in CFB. That's why they get covered.
