miles is not a good ingame coach

yet, lsu has won more games than any other team in the sec since '05 despite playing in the toughest division of the toughest conference

these 2 statements are mutually exclusive. they both can't be true at the same time. the latter is fact and can't be disputed. the former is subjective.

does he often do things that seem frustrating? sure. but, that's true of every fanbase regarding their coaches. all things being equal, miles still wins more. criticisms of miles are not valid until he is not leading the sec in wins. football is not about how a team "looks."

and for those people who are going to say that miles wins on talent alone, then the sec isn't the toughest conference. if it's the toughest conference, you can't win on mere talent or luck. it has to be earned.

He's getting paid 5 million dollars a year, it's okay to say he isn't the best thing since sliced bread and suck him off.

First let me say I am what folks on here would call a posi tiger .....
it seems to me sometimes clm goes into games with the wrong gameplan , and seems like he sometimes plays to the opponents strengths instead of our teams strengths .....

I was really disappointed in the game plan and the way it played out in the first half , especially after watching many other teams that was starting a young qb and those teams were successful or at least had a viable passing attack even with the new guys ....
It seemed as though the tigers could have started the game with a better plan of attack ....
But after all was said and done I feel like we have a damn good quarterback in the making who is surrounded by a lot of young talent that will win plenty of football games ....

These are the golden years if Tiger football. Enjoy it! It's never been like this before and in several years we could be right back in the bottom tier if the conference.

I don't believe even the most ardent Les Miles scrotum swinger expects Les to win games by his football genius alone. What we want is for the coaches to put this team in a position where our depth and talent can dictate outcomes at the end.

That happens more often than not.

The DOG call on the second half kickoff is because we didn't come back on the field in time?

It's also ok to say that a college coach doesn't win like Les has during his coaching career without being a damn strong coach.

Anyone yet to figure this out is a fricking idiot.

What I find funny is for several months people have been saying 9-3 and that we would struggle against wisky. Well we win and they bitch because the exact thing they thought would happen happened.

One of these days (Maybe in about 10 or 15 more years) the negatigers will get their way. Then LSU can return to the glory days before Saban.

You tell me since you said it was his fault? Why was it his fault? What happened to cause this? Did he simply have the players sit and wait until it was too late? You said it so I'm asking for an explanation.

When the other team is stacking 8/9 in the box and he has to keep trying to prove that we are tougher...I question his coaching. We all know that he can be very hard headed so it makes me wonder if he really gives CC 100% control of the offense. If our QB's complete +60% of their passes we will have a good year. I see a lot of talent with our WR's and we probably haven't seen the best one yet.
