Why don't we have more play calling like the 2 pt conversion?

If you watch the replay it was genius, got a linebacker matched up with Quinn. Seems like more rub underneath routes should be incorporated.

The two point play is a forward pass. We don't do that at LSU unless we are down by two scores.

I thought we were running option because they wanted the ball on the left hash marks. That play was beautiful and well worth the TO to get it right as Quinn ran out of real estate at the end.

Lol. Well done . But yeah, I agree. Alabama still runs that damn shallow crossing pattern. They run everyone off, then drag someone across. They run it 10-15 times a game.

Trey Quinn just looks so effortless. That was my favorite play of the night. He's a natural and will be fun to watch.

He certainly did not disappoint. Great hands. He is going to be fun to watch, all the receivers will be.

It's going to be a fun couple of years with these young players.

The way he ran his routes reminds me a lot of Odell

Probably because every "special" play seems to cost a timeout or delay of game.

Even the fake punt had a guy running on the field at the last minute and was obvious as all heck. We made it but it wasn't because we surprised anyone.

Seems kind of dumb to call a player that is only supposed to get ~3 yards unless you are trying to get a 2 pt conversion.

Amirite?
