I realized while doing it how antiquated that sounds, but i never get my music from torrents and my car is to old to hook a phone up to it or even play mp3 cds. SO i have to burn 6 CD's at once every couple of weeks to keep variety while I'm driving.

Anyone still paying for music and burning CD's?

Why not install a new car receiver with an aux input for your smartphone?

funny enough, I was moving yesterday and my gf found a spindle of CD-Rs and her exact words were "does anyone still use these?" of course I told her not to throw them out just yet.. but I can't remember the last time I burned something...

I think all the new aftermarket car stereos have bluetooth tethering too.

I paid for an mp3 a few months ago because I couldn't find the version I wanted online. I burned it to a CD too, I have a six disc changer + navigation combo in the dash, I don't mind burning cds.

I usually buy the album on vinyl. I download with the code and then put the mp3's on a thumb drive for the car.

I don't want to pay for that. I just burn my cds. I do have one of those elite things that let's me play my phone through the radio.

This is exactly what I did. Well worth the money.

You should be able to find something. Just a simple module you plug in behind the radio.

I installed one in my old Grand Cherokee for something like 30 bucks. Plugged into the CD changer connection.
