"If he does the things we ask him to do that the crowd may not see..."

LF is going to play ultimate decoy today.

Seriously.......it'll get him acclimated to the game and not risk scaring him a la Jarret Lee.

Did you know that Fournette was a RB and not a QB?

What is he going to be scared of? Getting hit?

Full speed game has a tendency of separating ball from player........mishandled exchanges, etc.

It's a young man's psyche, not the position per se

I don't think that is a good comparison to compare this situation to Lee. From a pass protection stabdpoint, maybe he won't be on the field as much to start. But a RB's adjustment to college ball is a lot easier than asking a qb to go out with 5 wides against SEC defenses.

Boh, I agree with you but there is some carry over.

is it the same sensitivity? No. But, he wants to bring him along appropriately.

With all the hype around #7, I can see he and #18 in backfield split, fake pitch to #7, all 11 defenders go that way , toss to #18 and he skips to the end zone. We run this play 11 times.

I would pass out in the stadium to to over happiness.

This.

I can understand not catering to the hype just yet. But let LF break a big one or two and lean on that young Wisconsin defense in the second half for 100 yards and even Les won't be able to control the madness.

Absolutely, he will handle it well. I just don't think he has to be worried about the turnovers that burned us with Lee

I'm pretty sure he is talking about blocking and doing well with other little things. Les knows that he is going to run all over the place but he also wants him to pick up blitzes, line up correctly, secure the ball, etc.

Charles, that's all coach speak or should I say Les speak. You don't get a thoroughbred and keep him locked in the gates.
