I have enough money on my gift card to purchase this. The 20% off your whole purchase helps out even more. Has anyone owned one of these and how well do they work?

They work really well when you strap an ipod with a speaker to it and let it follow you around the house.

I have no idea the number of mine but it works pretty well. You just turn it on and let him do his thing. He is pretty clumsy and will get caught up in some electrical wires and all sorts of shite under the bed so you have to make sure that stuff is Roomba proof before you let him out

My only complaint is if you have a problem area i.e. spill some chips and step on them in the carpet on one specific area. It's hard to get him to just clean a 3X3 area if that makes any sense.

is yours older? mine has a spot clean button that pretty much cleans a 3' circle. overall, i love the roomba. we set it to run daily, and rarely ever have to clean the floors manually. great when you have a heavy shedding dog.

This one I'm getting is the newest model. I assume it will do all of what you said.

No i have the spot clean. I guess it's just frustrating to see it get all but a six inch square of debris and then just leave.

I've had two Roombas and recently bought a Neato. I like the Neato a lot better. The batteries on the Roomba died after about a year. Also the random walk cleaning pattern seems a lot less efficient than the Neato's lawn mower pattern.

I have the lowest level roomba and it has changed my life. One of the better purchases I've made.

I have a Roomba...only use it occasionally in my kitchen. Works great and makes you realize how dirty your floors really are.

It's actually pretty neat. Especially if you have animals. We run it every night and we have very little pet hair in the house.

with 2 cats and a dog it is necessary for that thing to run at least once if not twice day. Best purchase the fiance has ever made

No I'm not an idiot. I don't have pets in my home.

Pets are meant for the outdoors

I have a 780 and love it.

BTW, stop hating on Ohio State. They didn't do anything to you.

Yes, well you used to.

Another vote for the Neato. Well worth the money

Bed Bath & Beyond always has 20% off coupons. If you don't have one you can ask one of the salespeople for one when you walk in.
