The boat is not titled unless you need to finance it. The trailer is what's titled.
Find someone with a titled junk boat trailer. Offer to buy it and haul it off. Use that title. A sleazy junkyard/wrecker operation can help with this also. Stamp that VIN on your trailer, scrap the other.

Better odds of sleeping with jennifer aniston than trying to get papers for a boat in louisiana without a title of orginal buyer.
Or sell if to your friend in mississippi and get legal papers there. Then buy it back with mississippi papers

I traded an old black guy a broken push mower for a 14ft flat boat a few years ago. Awesome deal, but the hull I'D tag had been ripped off. I completely redid the entire thing because it had been sitting in his back yard for 10 years, and I talked to a GJ buddy of mine. He told me not to waste my time and to sell it to someone else because there was absolutely no way I'd be able to get papers on it
Someone ended up stealing the damn thing from me a few months later
