The next move in Ukraine is obvious for the USA

Russia now has troops in the Ukraine, but they still won't admit it.
All we need to do is use a few stealth aircraft to light those forces up.
Russia couldn't shoot us down, right?
Best moment, when Russia complains, and we say, "But you aren't in Ukraine."
Russia would then hesitate to commit more forces in Ukraine, fearing engaging us.
What's to stop us from this?
And if you say, "Nukes." I just don't believe Russia would commit suicide over what I am suggesting.

You want to take surprise military aggression against Russia over border fighting in Eastern Europe? I would say sanity would stop us.

Who says we have to admit it was us?

I'm not quite ready to be turned into a dust.

So this is a joke thread and not something you actually support, right? I honestly can't tell on this board.

"Nukes."
Russia still has hundreds of them. We do not directly engage Russia in Ukraine because they have nuclear missles still pointed at us.
Seriously?

Ukraine had the 3rd largest Nuclear arsenal in the world after their separation from the USSR. A deal was signed on February 5, 1994, by Bill Clinton and Leonid Kuchma ( Ukraines President) guaranteeing the security of Ukraine in exchange for the return of its ICBMs to Moscow's control. The last SS-24 missiles moved from Ukrainian territory in June 1996, leaving Kiev defenseless against its nuclear-armed neighbor.
Pretty sorry of us to welsh on the deal now

"Twenty years on, politicians in Kiev are bitterly regretting the decision to trust the word of Washington and London."

Soooo, a perpetual war guarantee to Ukraine in the instance that their security is threatened? That only sounds like one of the dumbest things to tie your foreign policy to. I mean, what could go wrong? Britain/Poland/Germany anyone?
And if the United States or NATO were so adamant about willing to go to war over Ukraine's "security" then they could have very easily admitted them into NATO and made an even more ill thought out commitment.

could not agree more, but we made a deal....if this Nation has any integrity or balls remaining we will find a way to help these people

No deal in international relations lasts into perpetuity, especially security commitments. I don't know the details of said "deal" but I would absolutely break any military commitment if it was required in the deal. We aren't risking a massive war over issues that have very limited vital interests to us, 20 years after it was signed. That's insanity. And I've oddly not heard one peep about this "security commitment" during this crisis, so I have my doubts that we made such a binding deal.
