Anytime I see one of these stories I think "it must be because no one else would frick them". I see their pics and feel totally justified.

1. We make judgments every day. "He's too tall", "she's too short", "he doesn't make enough money", "she's too fat", etc are the basis for how we make decisions that guide us through life. This "who are we to judge" meme is as tired as it is ignorant.

2. Incest is dangerous for a society as it thins out the gene pool. Do you have siblings? If so (whether male or female) how do you feel about the thought of having sex with them? Unless you are the studmeister in the pic posted in the OP, you will find the thought repulsive because of the type of relationship you have with that person (or "them" if multiple siblings). If you are an only child, equate it to having sex with one of your parents.

People that don't feel that barrier are usually pretty fricked in the head (see: Medieval Royalty) as offspring of biologically related persons increase the chance of adding congenital defects to their offspring. The chances of such disorders is increased the closer the relationship of the biological parents.

It's not much different from looking down on women who smoke, drink and/or do drugs when pregnant.
