Plan on smoking a brisket and a boston butt tomorrow for the game. What are the best places to go, price wise? I was planning on Calandro's, just don't want to spend an arm and a leg.

I found a pork roast for around $3/lb at Calandro's on Government a couple days ago.

I have gotten some great pork butts to slow cook at sams belive it or not. that or winn dixie. For brisket...calandro's and winn dixie. You can always get the butcher at either place to trim it up.

Always get mine from Alexander's bc they trim it for me then reweigh it and put a new price tag on

Mathernes on highland has a lot of brisket and pork butts right now. I picked up 2 butts today. I think it was $2.69/lb. I go there if I don't feel like going to Sam's.

Go to Alexander's for the brisket. They have prime for much less $ than Calandro's has choice. The last time I bought there it was $3.89 per pound for USDA prime. It makes a difference. And I stopped trimming my briskets a long time ago. The fat is great flavor.
