So I just bought a ROKU for my bedroom TV and was looking for some suggestions of good channels. Obviously I'm familiar with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO, Showtime, ESPN etc but was curious if there are other channels out there I should look into.

Also, I read online about hidden channels? Any good ones?

I also keep reading about the Plex channel to stream content from your computer. I set it up last night but can't really find any websites that work with PLEX IT besides youtube. Any suggestions?

download twonky beam on your phone or ipad and on the roku, and you can stream web content that way.

Go to My Roku on your computer,if your not already.It seems guicker.

Go to the Channel Store.

I'll look at what I've got that you may not have.

YouTube is as good as Netflix.Full Movies.Whole Seasons of TV Series.

There is a free porn channel. You can google nowhere porn to get to it. You will get a code to enter on the roku site to add the channel. Nowhere has more channels than just porn though.

You're welcome. Make sure you have good wifi and that it's running on your computer when you access it on your Roku

Thanks. The unsupported Plex is awesome! Only problem is everything works fine on my computer but none of the channels I installed are showing up on my Roku. I tried disabling my computers firewall but that didnt work. Some forums online are saying changes may need to be made to the router. How exactly do I do that? Any other ideas? Thanks.

Did you download the plex app on the roku? Once you do that, you have to find the server(your computer ) through the settings on the roku plex app. After that, you should see a computer symbol in black and white. You'll find the apps there.
