Getting married at the end of next month. Looking to get 2 kegs, crown, and wine. Can anyone suggest a place with best prices? Anywhere from new Orleans to baton rouge. Thanks

Prices are all near the same. Best bet is to hit somewhere, like Hokus, and see if they can make you a deal.

For our wedding party thing we just had a wine place in BR put together a couple cases for the price we named. Worked out good.

Try Calvin's in the Bocage shopping center for liquor. I've shopped there for years because they're cheaper than Albertson's or Rite-Aid by several dollars on almost everything. They'll also deal on case prices. For this kind of event go to Trader Joe's for the wine and get ten cases of three-buck Chuck.

Talk directly to a vendor/distributor they should be able to get you the best price if you're buying in bulk

I wouldn't worry about getting too much. Doesn't sounds like the kind of wedding people are going to be wanting to stay at

Costco

I'm unimpressed with Costco for liquor. The selection is poor and the prices are supermarket prices.

Not sure about kegged beer, but check out Acquistapace's in Covington for the liquor and wine. Great selection and cheap prices.

What are you buying at Calvins, I fine most whiskey and wine I drink to be a lot less expensive at Albertsons and Rite Aid.

You do realize a lot of their bottles are litre size for the supermarket price of a fifth, right?

Costco has been a great value for a lot of different booze for me personally.
