I am trying to find some Caul Fat, which is the fat that surrounds the organs of cows, sheep, pigs, etc. It looks like a spider web for those who haven't seen it before. Any recommendations on where I could find it in the Baton Rouge area today or tomorrow? Last minute decision to make these country pates that call for the ability to wrap the pate in this fat.

I think the butcher at La Morenita could probably fix you up. Unless you're fluent in Spanish, I wouldn't suggest calling on the phone. If you go in person, bring a photo of what you want.
