Not heard anything about the hearings in awhile. Ole gowdy was on every talk show there for awhile, and now he's disappeared.

Not racist enough for this board to care at the moment.

They're in week 4 of a 5-week recess. There were lots of stories about the hearings in mid-to-late July.

Gowdy was busy telling the head of the IRS he was full of shite about the emails being "missing."

BTW, the head of the IRS was indeed full of said shite as the news yesterday backs up.

Patience brah, your boy has given him more scandals than he can handle at one time.

Twice in the last seven days, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have secretly launched airstrikes against Islamist-allied militias battling for control of Tripoli, Libya, four senior American officials said, in a major escalation of a regional power struggle set off by Arab Spring revolts.

The United States, the officials said, was caught by surprise: Egypt and the Emirates, both close allies and military partners, acted without informing Washington, leaving the Obama administration on the sidelines. Egyptian officials explicitly denied to American diplomats that their military played any role in the operation, the officials said, in what appeared a new blow to already strained relations between Washington and Cairo.

You could ask that about a LOT of things ... but, one thing after another just keep popping up, with ZERO resolution or accountability on any of this shite.

According to Gowdy, even though the inquiry is not making headlines every day, there is real work going on behind the scenes.

“It’s going to be a professional investigation,” he maintained, “despite folks who may want to see it be something else. They’re going to be disappointed.”

He already said countless times that it won't be a circus (with assumed reference to Issa).

On a side note,

quote:

Chipman will be chief counsel for the committee’s GOP majority. Democrats, led by Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, are hiring their own staff. The committee’s budget is $3.3 million, and it is expected to continue its investigation well into 2015.

3.3M???? Most of the legwork has already been done. That's a lot of cheese.

I'm honestly meh at this point. If we spent half the money on securing our country as we do playing RISK in the middle east we could just let all of those mother frickers burn themselves down and not worry about the fallout.

I'm very weary of giving two shits about brown-skinned goat frickers anymore.

Forgotten when Russia shot down that plane, which in turn was forgotten when Israel started bombing hospitals. Our media can only handle so many crises at once.

The 1980s are now calling to ask you for their foreign policy back, because the Cold War has been over for 20 years.
