Reports from Mobile Bay Dauphin Island this week?

Tried around Blakely river basin to Dauphin pilings area ans was full of rat reds but no specks anyway despite tons of bird activity. Anybody got any reports? Going to take boys fishing this week weekend.

I may be wrong but I think they should be on the rigs in the bay now.

Well here is my report. After three days fishing between the turtle ditch and Daphne pilings.
Rat reds and some bulls all over.
Trout are few and far between but caught a few including a nice 3 pounder. Gaftops all over the beaches from 2 inches to 20 lbs. Birds were obscene along the docks and beaches. shrimp everywhere.

Try down at the DI cut there should be some down there now. I wouldn't give up on the rigs either.

fish the flats on falling tides. U have to find a spot without all the damn grass but there are monster trout and redfish moving along flats. Lost a 25-30 pounder yesterday. It skied on the shrimp before it broke off.
