Lowly poor little school from the projects in Opa-locka travels up to gumpville and beats the best team that whole state has to offer on their own turf

Are red cups supposed to be a black thing?

Miami Central had, like, 25 players. Won despite physical attrition.

That is pretty bad.

That being said, I do wish blacks wouldn't trash the fields where their kids play (including home fields).

My youngest stepson plays on an almost all black pop-warner team. Our parents/fans trash every field they go to. It's like they don't even realize trash cans exist.

It's fricking embarrassing.

I highly doubt they only had 25 players, but Hoover does have double the enrollment + they bring kids in from all over to play at their school.

Big time humble pie for those serious Alabama high school fans to swallow.

You think somebody put "Hoover #1" on the envelope as a set up to make Hoover look racist?

Did you watch the game? I did. They could have had more than 25, but it wasn't much more.

I doubt anyone outside of the Hoover area is disappointed.

there isn't some insufferable brotherhood here for high school ball like there is with the SEC and their elitist blowhard fans.

Why do people care about high school football? If it's not your kids then what's the attraction? It's like watching single A baseball.

Single A baseball is much more entertaining than high school football if I don't know someone on the high school team.

The same thing could be said for college football, except maybe it would be triple A.
