Im a huge fan of this player and think he has a chance to be All Conference before he's done at LSU.
Just checking the rant to see if anyone else thinks he has this much upside?

Some good players ahead of him on the depth chart. He was a special teams beast last year. He'll be the same this year.

Are you really asking this? The rant thinks Jesus plays 11 positions.

He's very good. Has great speed, plays with a lot of passion, and is driven by his high motor. Duke can cover very well for a linebacker also, having played safety in high school.

Will be the first OLB to come off the bench on one side, Debo will be the other. Duke just adds to our very good depth at linebacker.

I am very high on a Duke. He's stuck behind a lot of depth, but think he should be outstanding his Junior and Senior year.

He's a run and hit type of player... And a tweener between a safety and a LB.

He could contribute sometime down the road on D, but not this year. He's a special teams all star for us this year. And that's important to have. Every team needs that.

We just have a lot of LBs with more experience / talent than Riley right now. Were gonna have 5 guys seeing LEGIT PT. We will rotate in and out at LB with those 5 guys at the MLB and 1 of the OLB spots. Kwon is the only LB that wont be in a rotation, he stays on the field.

I'm just talking about off the field, but duke is a trip.. He's the kind of guy people love to be around.. He's kinda family to me and anytime he's around it's always a good time.. Yea, his hair is a mess but the guy is a good dude... The team LOVES him.... Dude can dance to

Im talking more about next year, but i wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt make a big play or 2 for us this year on defense. There's something about this kid. You can be a tweener in college and have a stellar career.

Oh I completely agree...

And he will get his shot to be a starter on D at some point in his career at LSU. Won't be this year though.

And next season we will still have Beckwith, Debo, LL, and CG on the squad, assuming Kwon goes pro. Riley will most likely be in the rotation and see some PT. But the guys ahead of him this year and the ones that most likely will be here next year are just ahead of him. I don't see Riley jumping those guys next year. He could def join them though, and be in the rotation and see a lot of PT.

What's been good Andy?

I remember when LSU was recruiting him, and really thinking he deserved an offer. Finally got one, and will be a great contributor all of his career. He will make some BIG plays this year, mark it...

He's in the rotation at OLB, but not in the 2-Deep. With Welter gone next year, he moves into the depth chart. After Kwon and Debo are gone, he has an opportunity to start as a Junior or Senior.

Will be a program guy who pays his dues, ala Lamin Barrow.
