If Robinson isn't in the starting 11 when the season kicks off, expect junior Jalen Collins to nab the starting job opposite White.

While Miles was somewhat transparent about a couple of the moving pieces on the offense, he's remained mum on the status of two defensive players: Jalen Mills and Rashard Robinson.

This would be very disappointing. I thought all that was taken care of?

Could be a discipline thing if he really does struggle to make the grades. He'll see the field, but the staff might put him on 2nd string until he shows maturity to step up to the plate and get his priorities in order.

We kind of need him to start so we can put as many in the box to stop Gordon. We need 2 shut down corners.

That frees up the safety spot for one of the younger guys. We have so many pieces at DB it doesn't matter. If Robinson is "2nd team" that should say a lot about the squad they're putting together.

Senseless to start Mills over Robinson, imo.

ETA: or Collins

Edit your title. I think you meant Jalen Collins.

And Collins has had a good spring and fall, despite being trucked by Jennings twice. He will play.

Many have reported that Jalen Collins is doing really good this offseason. He's been battling Robinson for the spot all of fall camp. So we might not see a big drop off between the two. Collins has shown flashes of being a dominant CB. Now he's in his 3rd year in the system and much improved from last season

Lol is you think jalen got better than RR. It's because of grades if he doesn't start.

I don't trust mills as a starting corner, sorry.

I read it wrong. Never was a fan of Colllins. If he can perform I'll be happy but I'm nervous if he's in the starting line up.

Def not gonna feel as confident if our starting cornerback and safety aren't starting against Wisconsin.

I think Collins and any safety we trot out there is still a better athlete than anything Wisconsin has out wide. Still, I'd feel more confident with our best players on the field obviously.

I'm surprised Collins is still on the team.. And now he's starting?

They made mention of this last night on the show. Pretty sure it was Hanagriff.

Can't argue with that.
