Is Bohannon fixing to open up a can of Whoop-arse on the carpetbaggers? I have a suspicion something bad is fixing to happen to his wife and son. When did Ezra start talking? I must've missed that.

Yeah I have a feeling women dying on him is going to be a common theme in this series.

Off topic, but do any of you watch on amctv.com? I am trying to watch the most recent episode at work and it will not play. I login with my Cox membership, it says logged in, and when I click on the episode a blank screen pops up then nothing. I emailed them Monday, but got nothing.

I have been wondering something about this show, because I can't remember...
spoilers for those who haven't seen any of this show:
did he end up finding/killing all the people that he was hunting down to start the series? Seems like he did not get them all, and I wonder when that will come back around again.

The actress who played his wife initially did not sign back up at the end of last season as she was not guaranteed a long term role. She was in line for another longer role on another show & took it instead. So, read betwix the lines.

I Google'd John Campbell, and even though the show takes liberties with the historical perspective, this seems like it's going to be a character that is here to stay if the show goes forward. I think he and Bohannon could be a great contrast going forward.

Well, if you watch the preview for the next episode, she buys a can of kerosene and some matches.

Is Elam really dead?

He had better get himself back to Cheyenne and straighten Eva out. At the rate she is going she will be the first trial in the new courthouse for theft.

He talked last season, then stopped and only talks to Cullen.
He's probably going to be on hard times and have to team up with Durant again. He needs Elam back, he's got the brothas on his side it seems so that muscle can help if push came to shove.
I wonder if the Swede will escape death again.

In this past episode when Cullen rides into town and the 2 new douches started grabbing his horse and wife, I starting chanting frick ya!

I kind of think the Indian that Bohannon comes across right after leaving the Mormon compound might have something to do with Elam. Remember how his hand and arm was bloody? I don't think that scene was for nothing.

Elam is gonna come riding into town with a wife and new baby and be like..."..son of a bitch".
Then Ruth and Eva can hang out.

Best part was when he just made them his bitches in a matter of seconds and disarmed them.

Episode: Life's a mystery.
I thought this episode was a bit overdone with the music, the fancy Mexican, the war crime story.
But I still kind of enjoy the interaction of the various groups, Southerners, Yankees, Mormons, Blacks, Indians, Irish, Germans, etc., and this episode explored these issues as well.
Maybe as a Southerner I enjoy Bohannon as a hero. Does anyone think they enjoy or dislike this show because their "group" is positively or negatively represented?

Weird. I was actually just wondering how Mormons felt about the portrayal of Brigham Young. It sound's like he's basically gonna use the Swede to do some dirty work regarding the railroad.

I commented to one of my coworkers how the show seems to portray Mormons in a negative light. He is rather conspiratorial and thinks it is all a set up to make the Mormons the big heroes in the end.
