What do liberals want the government to do about racism? about poverty?

If the liberals and the race profiteers and race whiners could select a dictator to change things to exactly how they would like what would they want?
We are now more than 40 years after the great society and the CRA and it seems we hear more about the poor and racism than we have in years. Do people really need any more proof that this is a people problem and not a government problem?

They might not even realize this, most will vehemently deny it, but on a subconscious level what they want is soviet style communism. Not communism as it exists, but the communism of propaganda film. In other words, they want to live in a fantasy land. That's what liberalism is at its core.

Most of them I don't think want the gov't to do anything. It seems to me they strive more on shaming people for being racist, whether they truly are or not. It has the doubling effect of belittling anyone who isn't a liberal and putting them on their high horse. It's a great marketing strategy.

True, P...but Whites get those too. Won't fly, as such.
Latinos too; they get the 'right of return' to the Southwest, and vote their own form of 'reparation'.
Bottom line. Progressives believe traditional, Constitutional Capitalism/Individual Freedom was and is flawed and rotten to the moral and practical core. They are out to crash it, and undermine it's cultural influence on World economies.
And they will crash it. What comes after, is up for grabs.

If you'd like some optimism, read the book "Abundance". If the right leader steps up, it's a good chance we get over the vision hump and high tech makes a lot of the numerical problems go away.

In regards to poverty, something more than just relying on the free market to pull people out of poverty, which history shows does not work. There will always be poverty in a capitalistic society. There should be programs available for those in poverty to meet their basic human needs.
In regards to racism, there isn't a thing the government can do about it. There will always be racism.

Poverty...maybe not. Relative levels of affluence in regard to productive competition...for sure.
High tech will inevitably make the 'production of goods and services' (I.e., jobs) economically irrelevant. I suspect (per the book "Abundance") that most everything will be 'made'/atomically manipulated out of the basic Matter/Energy reservoir. As such, there will be no need for work, or jobs...and any economy will have to be based on some other impetus. I have no idea what!
