Planning a trip for Saturday to go out south of Houma to try to put a few slabs in the livewell. Haven't done much summer marsh fishing, but jumped on the opportunity to go. What are yall catching bass on these days? Special techniques?

TIA for any tips!

The big beetle spins are the most underrated bass lure on the planet. They look goofy but have kept me from striking out many times.

If you fish reds then anything you use on them will work on bass. At least in the Pearl River area thats what I find. Soft plastics, beetle spins, etc.
