Is there a NOLA retailer that sells Jacobs Andouille?

Putting together an ice chest of meat for travel, looking for best available options.

I doubt they carry Jacob's, but I would run over to Cleaver and Co on Baronne. Best butcher shop in town.

Try Stein's Deli. I saw some Laplace andouille there. not sure if it was Jacobs or Bailey's.

Did you know that the owners of Parran's Poboys on Veterans once owned Wayne Jacob's Smokehouse at the same time and sold their products in the back room? Wish that was still the case.

Thanks for the input. Might just stop by Jacobs and have to freeze it for the trip.

Just FYI Wayne Jacob's Smokehouse is not the same as Jacob's Andouille. Wayne Jacob's Smokehouse does make great andouille and a great lunch plate though.

LaPlace isn't that far away man. Why not make a quick run?

I pass through LaPlace every day, was more of convenience type thing so I could grab it without having to back track before leaving town Thursday.
