after seeing it talked about it here

that was a damn good burger
and the day i went (think it was Monday), the combo was $5.75

6 of us from office went to Dixie Made on Evangeline after people here said it was the best in BR- we were all incredibly underwhelmed. no real taste, small, and took forever even though we got there about 1120

Roul's is delicious. The problem is sanitation. And of course all the rumors about where the meat comes from.

I don't really care where the meat comes from, it's tasty.

JUICY JUICY

I love Roul's, BTW. I've had it twice in the last month.

Only had it a couple times, but it's not bad.

I just never get burgers from those types of places (Akasha, Rouls, etc.) because they use those awful fluffy sesame seed buns. I don't even like those on burgers at backyard parties and stuff. Reminds me of childhood when I thought I hated homemade burgers because I had only ever had overworked and overcooked hockey puck patties on the sesame seed buns from the bread aisle.

1. order burger without bun
2. bring your own bun to put it on
3. ???
4. PROFIT

My only qualm about Raul's is the lack of cheese options

I preferred Akasha but Roul makes a damn fine burger.

The meat is delicious. The bun is crap and literally disintegrates in your hand. The fries are meh. And the employees there are the dumbest I've ever encountered.

I mean, I am perfectly aware that Roul's isn't going to present me a brioche bun (my favorite), but just anything smooth on the top and less crumbly/easy to fall apart.

The bun is definitely a huge factor when I choose a burger.

Always served it's purpose as good late night food.
