If Vitter is elected governor...

whom do you think he'll appoint to finish out his term? Obviously, the appointee will then have an advantage in the 2016 election.
If Cassidy defeats Landrieu, would/should he consider appointing Maness?

What? This thread doesn't make sense.

Seriously. If my home state can't find a more suitable elected leader than a diaper wearing hypocrite, then I will never feel sorry for the citizenry of LA again.

I'm not Vitter fan, but he would probably be a better gov than any we've had in the last 30 years at least.
You will know what he stands for and he will be focused in making this state better, not flying all over the country trying to help himself for his next campaign

How can anyone possibly know what a hypocrite stands for?

Maybe a voting pattern?
Sorry he didn't pay your wife or mom from that sleepover he had with them. Seems this prostitution thing has you pretty pissed off.

I'm sure he can't be any worse than the phony we now have in the Governor's Mansion.

You're setting the bar real high here... But I agree.
FWIW I think Vitter would be an awesome governor simply because he would make much needed reforms

It'll be the time to try and legalize prostitution here.

Would he be strong enough to get the florida and acdiana region parish leaders in line and behind a loop, bridges on the mississippi, and updating and installing new traffic infrastructure?
It's clear it's going to take a strong and powerful governor to bully this project into existence. The parishes just can't come together on this.

Agree with you 100%.
Its going to take a strong governor to do some arm twisting, head bashing, and horse trading to get it done.

I'm not sure that would be atop of his priority list
It will be interesting to watch because I'm not sure he can win unless a big name D gets in the race. If the runoff comes down to Vitter vs. Dardenne I think Dardenne would win convincingly.
JMHO

Would not be surprised if there's a deal that John Kennedy stays out of the Governor's race in exchange for Vitter appointing him to the Senate if Vitter wins.

Say what you want about Huey Long, EWE, or even Jindal and I hold no love for them but they were very strong and got some shite done.

It needs to be. The future of south Louisiana lies in improving the traffic infrastructure. Especially so if the economy keeps booming like it is right now. It's the long term investment that needs to be made. We can't keep putting it off any longer now.

Probably a stupid question, but is this legal?

If it isn't, I don't know what the law is.

This is simple to explain. To please the Christian Right.... Vitter went to church to confess his adultery in front of the pedophile. On the way out the church, the hypocrites shake his hand and say "bless you governor!"
It's called legacy. Louisiana has one.
