LF is the real deal. He caught a little swing pass out of the back field, hit the corner, put on a couple of moves, turned on the jets and scored a TD. Kid is the real deal. Hilliard and D Williams also looked good running the ball.

AJ is your starting QB right now. He worked exclusively with the 1st team offense.

Lots of young WR's getting reps. Dupree didn't play, he wasn't dressed. Trey Q caught a long TD pass, he looked smooth out there, but I don't think any WR will get lots of passes thrown his way, at least early in the season.

We are going to be a run first offense, at least for now. Saw probably 4 or 5 running plays today for every pass play.

Colby D didn't kick today, may be injured. Trent D looked good as the back up kicker. Lots of work on special teams today.

Frank Herron looks like he has found a home as a starter at DT next to Christian.

He looked good handing off the ball :)

The few passes he threw were good, but they just didn't throw that much today.

Well, I did leave a few mins. before it ended, the heat was getting to me, so if they let Harris run with the 1's at the end, I may have missed it, but clearly with AJ getting at least 90% of the work with the 1's, if not more, the coaches seem to be settling on AJ as the starter.

Harris looked good from what I saw, but like AJ, he handed the ball off way more than he threw it.

One more thing, on one play when Harris was running with the 2's, they were going up against the 1st team D, Hunter blew threw the line, and would have crushed Harris if he wasn't wearing the green jersey. He seemed to get into the backfield before Harris had even a chance to look up.

So what you would expect from a 1 vs a 2.

That wasn't me.

When I left I felt I had gotten a pretty good impression of what this team is going to look like, at least early in the season. I think we are going to roll through September undefeated. Auburn and Florida on the road is going to make or break this season.

I'd expect a little more out of the second team tackle, but from a Hunter standpoint, I like it.

Who are you calling the 1's? I don't think anyone would agree either one had 90% of the snaps with either the 1's or 2's.
