These guys are some of the greatest athletes in the world; they're fine tuned and conditioned to hold up. They can get hurt doing a million other things.
Seems to me the experience AD will gain from this far outweighs any slight possibility of an injury. I'm proud of AD that he wants to do this.

I guarantee you'll see a different player from the shy kid that played in the Olympics. I'm interested to see if he embraces the role of leader of a team...this is going to be exciting.
