This is the guy now in charge of Furgeson's "security"?

Just before midnight, some in what had been a large and rowdy but mostly well-behaved crowd broke in a convenience store that police accused 18-year-old Michael Brown of robbing minutes before he was fatally shot by an officer, and began looting it, said Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson. Some in the crowd of about 200 began throwing rocks and other objects at police, Johnson said. One officer was hurt but details on the injury were not immediately available. Johnson said police backed off to try and ease the tension. No arrests were made. "We had to evaluate the security of the officers there and also the rioters," Johnson said. "We just felt it was better to move back."
Unbelievable!

Yeah things were going much better before the state police took over.

Come on, it's been a love fest since this guy took over. 24 hours ago they were telling the media how happy they were that the St Police were now in control and were thanking him for marching with the.
Dude just got hoodwinked.

I'm serious. Looters should be shot on sight

I hear ya. Nothing worse then watching police try to enforce the law.
Really wish they would just sit there and purposely and willfully watch the law getting crushed because goodness knows that is what law enforcement is for.

Take away our guns. The state can protect us.

What caused them to begin throwing rocks?
Did the State Police have riot gear on? Armored vehicles?

Not surprised at all. That guy was so cocky all day yesterday with his "I'm in charge now, I got this" attitude. It's not about which cop is in charge, it's about the mentality of the mob, same as in every other case. I have no doubt he's an excellent cop and a very good public-relations guy, but a little dose of humility (hopefully now received) will make him even better at his job.

So you don't think these pieces of sub human filth that are looting deserve to be shot?

So a "law enforcement officer" who blatantly ignores the breaking of laws is OK by you. Got it.
Do you think it may have been a good idea to post up some LEOs at the store that was the source of the days's controversy? I liked the guy from the start, but this purposeful disregard for the law is grounds for this guy to be fired.
