Stepping up our game this year and getting a small 5x8 trailer for our tailgate. We set up near the design building on campus, and I was wondering what LSU's policy is for leaving trailers at a spot overnight.

I work downtown so I usually stop at the spot on Friday after work to set up our tent frames, but I was wondering if I would catch any greif if I just backed the trailer up on the grass and left it for the night. Any insight or recommendations?

Looking to the Rant for the official policy (if there is one) and if any of the recent changes to the parking rules affected it.

TIA.

Leave enough alcohol on the trailer for use by the cops and they should let it pass.

You need to purchase an overnight trailer decal for $50 per game. Parking on the grass could be risky.

You serious Clark? 50$ to leave the trailer in the grass and not in a parking spot?

And that's on top of the 40$ to park on campus....

I'm set up across the street from the design building. We've been using the trailer for about 4 years now and it makes life a lot easier. Where are yall planning on parking?

If you leave the trailer over night, you better pay or it'll be gone. We started dropping a trailer the night before last year and it is well worth the 50 bucks. We did see several groups show up and their trailer was gone.

yep. some new guy tried parking his trailer where we usually park ours. I introduced myself and asked if he had a permit and he said "nah bruh we do this all the time." I had to park mine a few spots up and when I came the next morning his was gone. They come in around 3AM with about 50 tow trucks and just start yanking everything without a pass.

My advice is to do what we do. If you have a bunch of people that tailgate with you, have them put in money for the trailer parking (it's only fair.)

Thanks for the info.

We set up on the small, slightly sloped grass area right on the street on the design building side.

Guess we will be collecting money from people as it looks like there is no way around it if we want the trailer.

I do know that fieldhouse drive is reserved parking and trailer parking is not allowed. You weren't planning on parking it there right?
