Need a Vote re: Burger Night in N.O.

So my wife and I are going to go out for a burger this weekend. We're torn between Cowbell and High Hat (Company Burger isn't in the cards for this one . . . we want more of a sit down dinner burger thang, yo).
Let's hear the arguments for the two options. Actually, if someone comes up with a different suggestion, I'm willing to listen (no Yo Mama's, Snug Harbor, etc.).

They are 1a and 1b for me so I would pick the place with the better cocktails / beer which is High Hat. The desserts there are usually pretty killer as well. Can't go wrong with either joint.

Well, no doubt she's better. But I think she's leaning toward Cowbell, but can be persuaded either way. It's a conundrum in the best sense.

I agree with Z + Wise .. if y'all haven't had the burger @ LPG I'd hit that. Sit at the bar, order a cocktail have a great burger. It's got such a unique flavor. Only $16 bucks too.

Okay, I figured it out. Sorry about that.
Actually, I've had the burger at "LPG" once. It was really good. I also had that variation on a BLT, but can't recall the specifics. That was good, too.
Plus, it's within walking distance.

I like Cowbell's burger SLIIIIIIIGHTLY more than High Hat, but High Hat has an all-around better atmosphere. I'd probably do that. I always feel cramped at Cowbell.
LPG is definitely a dark horse candidate. If it's walking distance I could see where a fun evening could be had that way. Maybe get wild and take her to the 'Vous to throw back one or two after.
