Within the first few days of full squad and contact practices, Dupre was routinely with the first receiver group next to Dural and redshirt freshman John Diarse of Neville High in Monroe. And he has remained there.

It's gonna be hard to reach the level of OBJ and Landry, but Quinn and Dupre can't be very far off as far as talent. Dem boys guud

I was at LSU high school coaches clinic one of the days where the coaches went to the practice facility.

Dupre was throwing the ball around with some players, one of my friends brought their 10 or so year old kid with them. We were all eating off to the side of the field, and Dupre singled out the little boy who was watching all the players and threw the football with him for 25-30 minutes. The kid didn't ask or anything, that's what made it cool.

Pretty cool kid it seems.

You can tell he's been around Les Miles a lot lately.

I've shared a similar story before. Dupre really is just a nice guy.

If there was ever a year for freshmen to play a lot at WR, this is it.

Is Leslie a bust or will he be a legit contributor?

@DellengerAdv: An #LSU player today said Malachi Dupre has been "in and out" of practice. Still nursing a minor injury, it appears.
