Portland is too high and I can't see the Grizzlies winning less games than they did last season.

Outside of that I think the rankings are fine.

I think the pels top 500 and jump Phoenix. Possibly Houston. Outside of that the list is solid

It looks good to me. I think the Mavs are getting a little too much hype, but the teams 4-8 can all land anywhere in that range

Love this rivalry.

The West is so stacked. Looking at the close records, this is clearly a total guess.

I don't see a problem with saying OKC gets one more win. The Spurs will be resting players a lot in the season. I don't have OKC getting past them in the playoffs

Plus one of their key reserves Patty Mills will be out for a while.

I actually think if they are matched up in the playoffs that OKC will beat them. They just match up well with the Spurs and might have beaten them this past year with a healthy Ibaka.

eta: Just watched the video on the ESPN link and David Thorpe is being bullish on the Grizz.

I agree with all the playoffs teams. 1-3 are probably correct.

4-8 are who I think will be in the playoffs, but they could be any of those seeds.

Meh. I know Durant is a great scorer, but if they are going to beat the Spurs it will be because Westbrook puts the team on his back.

Teams that play good defense cause him to struggle

I don't think that is too crazy of a possibility.

That "might" saved your arse, I'll have you know

Don't have a problem with the forecast. Honestly, I didn't expect SA to overtake OKC for the #1 seed last year, but they stumbled a bit and SA went on that ridiculous win streak.

Would rather not face them in the playoffs again if we can avoid it. Westbrook scares me more than KD when they play us

It's just matchup related. I think OKC does a ton of things that the Spurs struggle with.

If OKC had won that series they probably would have gone on to lose in like 5 to the Heat. Crazy how this shite works some times.

Eh, both teams stayed the same basically and the Spurs finished the season 3 games ahead last season while no starter averaged more than 30 mins in the regular season. I don't know that OKC has done anything to warrant being considered the favorite in the West. Of course, it's subjective and I'm biased That's just my opinion.

I do think the Title will be won by either the Spurs or the Thunder next season

Splitting hairs really because the Spurs had a decent amount of injury issues and OKC had to sit Russ for a huge chunk of the season, had him on minute restrictions, and didn't play him back-to-backs.

Agreed.

They do ONE thing that SA struggles with, and that's basically be uber athletic and gamble/overplay the passing lanes, counting on Ibaka to cover for them on the back end.

SA is much deeper, however, and will be next season. KD/Westbrook were running on fumes by the end of the WCF, and honestly once SA figured out that they didn't necessarily need Parker to be a one-man pinball when it came to initiating ball movement, it was basically over.

I see Portland improving on last season. We were blessed to be as healthy as were. That was our first year together. CJ is going to look good this season too.

I don't think so.

I think the 4 seed again is about right. Don't see us losing 3 more games than we did last year.

Yup, and now that y'all have gotten your playoff feet wet with this group, I think y'all will be rock solid this year.
