I swapped the stock 5-1/2" tall 4WD valance for a 3" tall 2WD valance. It looks much better than the bulldozer blade that came on it. $70.00 shipped on Rockymountain.com.
Thought some of you might appreciate the info.
And a stock one for comparison

I would never notice the difference

Looks much better. I've always thought the valance was an eyesore on the F250. If I were ever to buy one, I'd probably remove it completely.

Removing it completely kinda looks raggedy...

Gold jacket, green jacket, who gives a shite?

On the older models the valance doesn't seem to be noticeable...
I wonder what happened where they thought they needed that big ole blade on the front.

Does that make it any less of a POS? If it does, I'm ordering one tomorrow

Nope, the 6.2L gas burner under the good helps though...

Holy shitty gas mileage with those tires.

8-9 MPG, I'm trying to keep the Refining industry busy...

What's a valance?
The black rubber peice on the bottom of the front bumper that everyone rips off when getting stuck..

Looks better. A lot of manufacturers put those on their trucks to direct air around the mechanical bits under the chassis. It's for fuel efficiency.
Just get one with a gas engine and an extended warranty.

My ideal F-250 would be a true monochrome (no chrome bumpers or fixins') King Ranch. No Platinum tailgate, either.
