I am curious to see what others think of Feist. He made plays all over the field in the spring game, and he seems to be fast and aggressive. I am just wondering what happened last year, and why doen't he see more PT? He certainly looks like he could at least be an asset on special teams coverage.

He was swapped over to the D-Line for some depth but was buried on the depth chart... He's back at LB now and I am hoping he gets some PT because I think he is a beast in waiting.

My impression of him has been he should be starting. Kwon, Beckwith, and Feist would be my three LB's.

I usually defer to the coaches on who plays and starts. But I totally can't do that when it comes to middle linebacker. Beckwith is the best ML on the team.

Hoping to see much more of Feist this season.

Really good. He has good instincts and is able to locate the ball carrier well. There's going to be a lot of rotation at LB so we'll see him, don't worry.

Plus, he has a certain feistiness about him.

You DO realize it's pronounced "feast," right?

I think he's really fast and meets ball carriers with contact. He's a good tackler and will probably get a lot of PT this year. If you talk to other players about the linebackers his name always comes up as a guy to watch out for.

I'm hoping he, Lamar Louis, Beckwith, Kwon Alexander and Debo Jones all see more playing time this year.

The only thing I've seen from him is through the spring game, and he looked good at MLB then. He was better than Beckwith and Welter in that game, but hard to say that based on one scrimmage six months ago he should be starting. Hopefully he is pushing the other LBs for playing time and he continues to show out on the field.

He seemed more quick than fast. Also had good instincts and hit the hole quickly to meet ball carriers.

I think he's looked good in spring games, but having never attended a practice, I'll defer to the coaches on who is the best for any given position in real games.

I've seen enough Spring Game All-Americans over the years that didn't do much on the field in the real games to know the Spring Game isn't always a good indicator of who the best players really are.

I speak Milesspeak, what Coach is saying is that it is so close, that the player who actually thinks that it belongs to him will be the player who gets the job !

Don't forget D Riley dudes not too bad himself. I think our Line backers are being overlooked and labeled as average by just about everyone and I hope they know this and come out knocking heads off.
