LSU Games Subject to Local Blackout on SECN?

Does anybody know the answer before I spend time on hold with Cox?
Take the Sam Houston game. With stadium expansion, I could imagine the last thing LSU's athletic department and the SEC would want on Baton Rouge TV is a game with a lesser opponent where interest in being in the stands is not at a premium anyway.
So will these SECN games that are not nationally televised elsewhere be subject to local blackout?

No
Tough shite.
Every single game will be televised. You don't need to worry.

If the network is televising another game at the same time, I would assume yes. However, if it's just LSU in that time slot on the network, no, it should be available to all, even the Louisiana tv markets.
Personally, I don't think they'll be any blackout games, but you never know.

Games being blacked out

Espn3 is the only one that does blackouts. You're good.

Why would they black it out when most of the audience for a LSU Sam Houston game would be all of LA anyway. Cables companies are going to charge no matter what for premium channels so ESPN gets their money.

lsu has sold out every game since 2000 and always has another 30,000 outside partying. personally I would pay anything just to be on campus and be apart of the magical gameday atmosphere at lsu

Just how much are we talking here?

Given that I saw all of the Non-conference games AND UK and MSU listed on Living Social for half price tickets for EU 600s sections --- I think "Sold Out" for those games is highly unlikely.
Paid Attendance will be high for all games --- meaning the tickets have been sold --- ACTUAL attendance could be lacking for all non-conference games and possibly UK and MSU.
So, Alabama and Ole Miss will have a full house.... unless the weather is too hot, too cold, too rainy, or LSU has a couple of losses by the time we play them -- then there will be open seats for those "key" games too.
Sign of the times.

IMO....IF games are not sold out { a distinct possibility if LSU continues to raise ticket/parking prices and OOC home games continue on the current putrid track}, they should be blacked out locally !
