Said LSU fans are spoiled.
Last two mlb we had were all Americans.
Said welter will start and play all year.
Said he wasn't an all American but he is a good college football player.
Also said he feels like this unit will be much better than last year.
DT play hindered lb play last year based on scheme,,,, not getting into scheme in this post, you either understand the role of DT and how it effects lb play or you don't.
Said look for big year for Q Alexander.
John Chavis doing much better job rotating all lbs in and out.
Said lacatour playing time last year huge plus for this years team... Young dline but talented and have good feel and understanding of what their role is on this unit.

This is my biggest concern for 2014. Play of the defense.
He seems to believe we will be much improved.
Idk, for me it's a wait and see.

LB play will have to be huge this year considering the line is so young. Pass defense should be vastly improved, run defense is the question mark.

Do we even have a Q Alexander on the roster? I don't think so.

I'm much, much more concerned about the offense.

Defense should be vastly improved.

So he basically threw Chavis under the bus without realizing it?

You mean they lived up to their potential. Why are we spoiled for wanting tackles at the line of scrimmage instead of getting dragged 5 yds down field or not getting off of blocks?

Sorry, we want better. We pay for it and we recruit for it and we expect more. Would be different if he would have said good SEC football player.....big difference IMO..he could be good at ULL

I like Welter, good guy good family and hopefully All SEC this year.....but he was not "good" last year.

I really don't understand the concerns on defense. This will be a vey good, very deep defense.
Focus your worries on the passing game.

Ponamski sounds like he isn't very smart to me. And you need to stop abbreviating because you don't do it right.

I just don't get what missing tackles have to do with the DT play last year.

Okay what is the deal with Beckwith? This guy came in with all the hype of being the savor at MLB. I know we put in at the DE spot at first then back to MLB. Does he just not have the tools that we all thought? Is he just not picking up the scheme that one needs in playing the middle? Is Welter just that hard to de-throne at that spot?

THis is why this board sucks sometimes.

People such as yourself take a post, and turn it into a little personal bitch fest about things that dont have the first fricking thing to do with content.
Im not a huge DPonamski fan but Ill be first to admit he has more connections and first hand knowledge than me about this team... and Ill goes as far to say more than anybody here... yet let's focus on your opinion of his intelligence level or how I choose to abbreiviate.
Well done tard... well done.
