Frickin amazing. They were lightly dusted with sand and rolling around a 9.5 to 10. Was very impressed considering recent trips to The Bluffs.

In case you're wondering 73 with 6 birdies and an arse ton of bogeys :(

Those greens ate me alive Friday

Pin positions were brutal but yeah they were the best greens I've played in a while

Too bad it's in the middle of nowhere. I loathe that drive.

it's worth it. Especially today for 35.00. There's nothing close to the terrain in Baton Rouge. Totally different experience

Terrain? You act like it's Birmingham. It ain't that hilly.

It's just a tad more than Webb, LSU, Santa Maria, Dumas, Coppermill, and even Beaver Creek.... Ya lazy frick! Come by the house, I'll gather the change from the couch for your gas to get out there

You must be going about 95mph. It's like a 10 minute drive once you get off of 61.

I actually thought about getting a membership, but even from the west side of Zachary it is too far for me.

Played copper mill on Thursday. Course was ok but the hitting out of the traps was like hitting off of concrete. At least they were consistent. I probably hit out of 5 traps just on the front nine.

Maybe it wasn't maxed out, but it was nothing I would consider slow

Not to mention the bluffs has some pretty severe slopes in their greens

Not many flat areas

9.5 to 10 in a non tourney random Monday is pretty good IMHO. Not saying you, but some ppl have no idea how fast 10 is... It's just like 90mph in baseball. 90 gets thrown around like its nothing, 90 is gas.

I know I worked at the bluffs for 3 years. We had one of the best supers around. During summer those things were rolling 10.5-11 and never under 11 in winter. Firm and fast. We couldn't put 10 pin on the right side most of the time.
