When I was cleaning my car out to trade it in I found the album Blonde on Blonde by Bob Dylan.

So I am no listening to it, while totally tore up on alcohol.

Man, it sounds really killer. I especially like tracts 1,2, 7 and 13.

I forget what tract #2 is, but "Rainy Day Women", tract #7 "Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat" < and #13 Obviously 5 Believers" are fantastic.

No wonder this was rated one of the greatest albums of all time.

The lyrics to "just like a woman" go something like

Achin,just like a woman
makin' love, just like a woman
fakin', just like a woman
breakin' just like a woman

are so honest.

I love honstty.
I love alcohol + music.

Out of his electric trilogy, it's my least favorite. I prefer Hwy 61 and Bringing it all Back Home. But it's still a great album.

I don't care for "RDW" or "JLAW" but I like the rest of the album

Visions of Johanna is one Dylan's first great stream-of-consciousness songs. So many great lines in that one. The words were hypnotic to me before I even thought about it and understood it.

Just Like A Woman and I Want You are obviously highlights.

I really like 4th Time Around. I believe that one was inspired by Norwegian Wood.

Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands is pretty epic.

Visions of Johanna and Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again rank among the very best of Dylan's output. I also like the sappy stuff like Sooner or Later and I Want You.

One of the bests ever.

quote:

Oh, the ragman draws circles
Up and down the block
I'd ask him what the matter was
But I know that he don't talk
And the ladies treat me kindly
And furnish me with tape
But deep inside my heart
I know I can't escape

Honestly, stop posting while drunk.

And it's 'tracks', not 'tracts'. Jesus Christ on a fricking crutch!
