whats your strategy for the back to back picks? Obviously the top 5 rbs are gonna be gone. grab 2 stud wr's? best qb and best rb? still go for 2 best rbs? ppr league

PPR? WR/WR. Very good chance you can get Dez and A.J. or if youre really lucky DT88 and Dez or A.J.

Depends on who's there. It's silly to try to map out a strategy when you have no idea who's going to be there when you pick.

the most success I have seen with the last pick is going WR/WR but that all depends on who's out there still.

tough to strategize without knowing the picks before you

I'm in the same spot. PPR league. I usually end up going WR/WR. Usually, Brees and Rodgers are still there but I end up with 2 of Dez/Green/Thomas. I know a lot of people frown on taking a QB so early, but would going Brees/AJ or be more beneficial down the line than Dez/AJ?

I've even gone AJ/Murray when the other 2 WR are gone.

I posted this in another thread but I will post it here as well in case someone finds it useful. If you use ESPN for fantasy, go to the fantasy page and view projections. Under projections it will ask you scoring type. Change this from ESPN standard to your leagues scoring. Sort by PTS. This will give you a better idea of the value of players according to your leagues scoring. Good luck!

Id go WR x 1st 3 picks. U can end up w an AJ/dez/keenan allen roster which is PPR gold. Go RB/RB/QB after. You wont have top tier Rbs but your WRs will def make up for it.

I wouldn't be mad at those 3. And about running backs, outside of the top 5 it's really just a crap shoot anyway.

While I agree with this line of think for the most part, IF you do it you have to go RB for the next 4-5 rounds afterwards, and preferably high upside RB s, not Steven Jackson-esque players. Your chances on hitting on at least 2/5 are much greater. Gives you a little wiggle room and chance for error. Then get some value at QB with Brady, Romo, Rivers or Cutler.

CJ was the 1st WR, and the guy picking 11 took AJ Green. Needless to say my eyes lit up when he said that.

But yes to answer your question they are a bunch of morons.

Thomas won't be available in my draft. If he is, I'll be ecstatic. Wr/wr is probably gonna be the way to go. I'll drive myself crazy thinking about it for 3 more weeks though. Dammit

I've got 12th pick in a ppr. No way 2 of these guys DT, dez, green are available.
Im thinking whichever dez or green then Murray or Bernard.
At 36/37 try to get garcon and maybe bush or vereen
wr is so deep I dont want to invest too many early picks when I can get solid guys a little later.
gonna do a ton of mocks and see what happens

I pick 7th in a 12 team, and I plan on going WR/WR/WR. If Ellington falls to me in the 3rd that would be the only way I don't go 3 WR's to start. (non-PPR). I just really like how my team ends up by drafting like that. You're guarenteed either CJ or DT88 in round 1, hopefully B Marsh or Julio round 2, and then Allen or V-Jax round 3. At the worst, if it's not going well by week 3 or 4 you can always trade 1 of the wideouts for a top RB.
