About 14 people coming to a crab boil at my house. 7 guys and 7 girls. I never boiled crabs before, so I want to make sure there is enough.

Also, if yall have any tips/secrets to give, it would be greatly appreciated!

I boil them about the same as crawfish.

Boil for 5 minutes soak for 20-30 minutes.

Make sure they are ice cold before boiling.

A bushel is 5 doz.

You will be able to fit the whole bushel in a 100qt pot. Im not a fan a boiling all my fixins with the crabs. I boil them first take them out then boil my crabs. Sometimes I use my turkey frying pot to boil the vegetables at the same time as my crabs. Of course the onions, celery, lemons and garlic ride with the crabs to help flavor them.

Price varies.
Anywhere from $1.85-$4.00 lb wholesale. Most retailers sell by the dozen or bushel as u stated earlier though.
