Won another gun: *update in OP* Ruger SR1911

Left last night with a south Texas hog hunt, a 20qt canyon cooler, hats and knives and a killer fire pit (IMO)
(I'll be painting the p&g black with expediency)
Won a rock island armory 1911 in one of the ticket drawings. Tell my about it. POS, good company or middle of the road?
Update: so they screwed up the order for the RIA and just gave me store credit. Used the credit, added a little cash and got this instead:

nascar, I want the rim for the horseshoe slingin' and meat smokin' and fish fryin' barn. the pretty little pit would be in my front yard, overlookin' the lake!!

SWLA Whitetails Unlimited is their biggest chapter in the world for the last three years. 50% of all money raised by the chapter stays home and is used to take kids and vets on hunting trips. I'm sure they do other shite but that's all they seemed to talk about last night.
