1. at Florida. the week after playing at Auburn. We always have a tough time in tSwamp.

2. Wisconsin in Houston. dangerous opener with all our youth at the skill positions. Wisky is always a solid team, and like us, have all offseason to prepare for this game.

3. Alabama. this appears to be a tossup. LSU needs to take advantage of home field.

4. at Auburn. I think they're being overrated going into the season, but never an easy place to come out with a W.

5. at Texas A&M. last game of the year, and who knows how good this team will be by then.

AU is toughest game of the year. First off, they are far from a bad team, and secondly, it's at Jordan Hare.

TAMU and Wisky probably don't belong on the list. Ole Miss may though.

You're correct, Walt. TaMu will be a pushover. We'll play down to da bears.

Ole Miss would've easily been 6.

But, we get the webels at home and while lightly thought of heading into the season, A&M may be a beast by the end of the season. Not to mention they have to be tired of our kicking their arse the last 3 years in a row.

67K posts and that's all you got?

Why even bother, unless post count is more important than putting yourself out there a little.

Congrats on 67K + 1?

Toughest game is at Auburn. We were their only loss last year. At Florida, Alabama, and Ole Miss (we usually play bad against OM).

1a) Bama
1b) @ Auburn

Big gap

3) @UF
4) Wisconsin
5) Ole Miss

ETA: I think your list is pretty ridiculous. A&M will suck. Wisconsin tougher than Bama and Auburn? Come on...

Agreed A&M will suck early, but being the last game and at their place is why they're on the list.

If Wisky was in the Auburn or Bama spot, then that's a completely different story as well but they aren't. They are a tough opener, and it wouldn't be that much of a shocker if they do happen to actually beat LSU. This game is all about the LSU youth and how well they're ready to play big boy football.

It's hard to argue against Bama being anybody's toughest matchup, especially ours. Thanks to their flabby-arse schedule, they will be undefeated and hungry to claim the west when they come to town.

I feel like cowbell U has to be on the list. Mark it: After we beat them, they will win a bunch of SEC games and knock off somebody big and our win over them will look that much better.

I agree. I think Ole Miss will be better than the A&M little brothers.
