It's about to be the new bubonic plague. As George Carlin said, "One day this planet is going to just shake us off like a bad case of fleas. Earth isn't going anywhere. We are." We will all be bleeding from every orifice in our body very soon I'm afraid.

This.

Ebola can be controlled by simple precautions that are routine in this country.

It is a mess in Africa because Africa is a massive steaming shithole.

In the epicenter of the pandemic, maybe .000001% have the disease. Hundreds of millions are going about their business as usual. Yes, it's horrible if you get it. But it's nearly a metaphysical certainty that you are not going to get it,

I think it's far more serious than you make it out to be.

That's not what he said. He said it's inevitable that it would come to the US.

It's already in the US.

There are documented cases of people dying from it already.

Yeah, I'm gonna need a cite for that. The canonical list on the CDC site shows no deaths and only 4 asymptomatic infections (in 1990, from monkeys in a quarantine facility) in the US since 1976.

You are right. I completely misread it. Says they have symptoms of Ebola. Doesn't even confirm they have it.
