Jesus, the guy is a Saint.

Can we stop tearing him down, even when he's playing well?
What did he do to make everyone act so negative towards him all the time?

Played football on a dominant Alabama squad.

I'm not being negative at all. I actually like Ingram too.

I wasn't really referring to your thread in particular.

But I mean, you made the title because you knew it would aggravate some posters.

Cared more about waving a towel on Bama's sideline than working hard to be a better NFL player.

Hopefully he's turned the corner and can contribute

Agreed. He should have been watching film, not his college team play for a national championship in the city he plays pro ball for.

You're an idiot if you think any pro player would pass that up. Most do it. Adrian Peterson was at the Sugar Bowl this past year, is he not working hard?

Don't worry LSU fans, we don't hold you all to this guy's standards.

AP obviously worked hard and is in a different league than Ingram

He wasn't giving 100% and it's the cause of the backlash

Not just because he's a Gump

the only thing i can say about that is the Saints were in the playoffs, and Vikings were out. However i have no problem with it

He was injured his first year and had to split carries with # backs the next year.

He has averaged four.one a carry for his career.

Lacy averaged four.three. YPG last year.

Don't worry about who he roots for in college.

He was such an emotional bitch on twitter his first 2 years with the saints. I have no problem with him repping bama, but when a large majority of you're professional fan base are lsu fans, you're gonna run into problems. He got his feelings hurt multiple times and he's quieted down on twitter but he caused the problem for himself. Seems like he's grown up. I'm rooting for him. I'm hoping one yard Ingram loses his nickname.

Eta: I think he's gonna have a breakout year. If he can stay healthy.

Ingram played a great game tonight. I suspect that will continue.

You're fan base are a bunch of pussies for letting it get to them then. The dude played at Alabama, was an All-American there, won the Heisman Trophy there, and helped lead his team to a national championship. Obviously he's going to have strong ties to that school.

I'm siding with the Alabama folk on this one. Some of you LSU/Saints fans are just as bad as the "Johnny Manziel" hate brigade.

So if he isn't succeeding or blowing away everyone, he should be in a room watching tape over and over. In the workout rooms, working out.

Are you the best at your job? If not, you need to go improve your craft instead of watching/reading football.
