We are going to rely heavily on freshman receivers this year. No matter how talented they may be, playing in the SEC is a huge step up from HS.

With that in mind, which past LSU WR made the biggest impact during his freshman season? A couple come to mind for having good seasons but not great....

Odell Beckham
Jerel Myers
Abram Booty
Michael Clayton

Others?

Freshmen WRs and essentially two Freshmen QBs (I know that Jennings is a Soph, but he barely has any experience).

It is hard to see how the offense will be productive this year. I am hopeful, but would not be surprised if they really struggled.

I'd be thrilled if Dupre and/or Quinn had freshman years that are a little bit north of OBJ's.

People keeping saying this, but it really isn't true. He has been with the program since January of 2013, saw action in multiple games last season, saved the Arkansas game, and started the bowl game. While his actual game experience has been limited, to say he has the experience of a freshman is silly.

Clayton. He did have the benefit of playing along side Josh Reed.
