regarding "job creators", meaning wealthy individuals, as what is needed to spur economic growth?

More specifically, I'm talking about Romney's talking points and the GOP in general last election when they constantly beat the drum of "job creators" (again meaning wealthy individuals) receiving tax cuts being important to spur economic growth and jobs in particular.

No.
"Job creators" means "job creators". PERIOD. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Now if a "job creator" creates enough, he/she may certainly become wealthy or even more wealthy.

Got it?

Nah man, cuz the Zero is doing such a great job with this economy. Negative growth the last quarter, that's where it's at, brah!

That is sarcasm if you haven't guessed.

Well, the GOP repeated many times that income tax cuts at the higher brackets would help the "job creators" create jobs. And they were especially vocal and adamant in their insistence than higher taxes at the upper income levels would do serious damage to the job market and economy, so my general point without trying to parse and spin still stands.

Same old Reagan era "trickle down economics". Total bullshite. The capitalist system is going the way of the dinosaur. It is a 19th Century Industrialist economic system that no longer works.

You have left out the part where they say cuts effect and help ALL levels of tax payers who receive them.

Bush tax cuts went into effect in 2001. 4 years later we were well on our way to a recession.

Sadly, the best job creator is the government.

Define upper income levels. Define the type of tax.

Better yet, how about take a few economics courses.

And further, you would think "job creators" and Obamacare would go hand in hand, since most "job creators" are at a disadvantage of not being able to provide affordable healthcare for their workers.

You are an accountant? Honestly?

Yet you don't understand how increased overhead can stymie business growth? You don't understand how perceived risk of future increases in overhead can stymie business growth? You think that is debatable? Seriously?

There was a thread a few days ago re: Obama whining about US companies moving to Ireland because of their low taxes, so I guess he agrees with the right.

Do you still buy into the Democrat talking point that higher taxes/increased government spending somehow creates wealth for all of us?

Keynesian much?
