My brother and his wife might have to move to Louisiana for a job and they are looking to live in either N.O. or BR. Her job would require time in BR, N.O., and Lafayette and also some travel outside of the state. He is in hospitality and all the big jobs would be in N.O. although Baton Rouge has some opportunity. They are leaning to living in BR. or just outside in a place like Gonzales. Anyone have any input? I've been out of BR since 2006 and not sure the top places to live.

They are looking at 2 bedroom 2 bath apartments. Not sure of price rage but not super cheap but not really expensive.

I've told them not to live in BR. BTW this would not be a permanent thing. Could be few years and then off to somewhere else

No. Filled out everything, got background check back, and set up the email account they make you. Just haven't had time to go any further.

Can't beat CCL, it's right off of the last exit of Baton Rouge.

Otherwise Praireville and Gonzales.

If they're just looking at apartments and not looking to buy a house, they might be able to find something off Corporate, near Towne Center. It would be close to I-10 so they could commute to Lafayette or NO. Not sure if they allow kids in those complexes or not.

Mid-City/Capitol Heights would work too if they can find a house to rent. Lots of families in that area.

Saw the Highland Club on Jefferson Highway right off Highland. Had good rankings. I think this would be a good area? Just outside on BR and on way to N.O.
