SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Phoenix Suns forward P.J. Tucker was sentenced to three days in jail and 11 days of home detention Monday after pleading guilty to "super extreme" driving under the influence.
"I am truly sorry and I take full responsibility for my actions. No excuses," Tucker said in a statement. "It is now my responsibility to examine my life and make the changes necessary to ensure this never happens again."
Police say Tucker had a blood alcohol level of .22 after he was arrested May 10 in Scottsdale.
Tucker agreed to put an interlock device on his car for 18 months, undergo substance abuse counseling, and pay fines of $2,750. He was placed on probation for up to five years.

.22
Moron. Should be in jail for six months. As it is, this probably won't be his last offense.

How the hell do you even make it to the car and turn the ignition?

I find some these kind of hard to gauge. What is a .22? Like a 12 pack?

I thought Arizona had super strict DUI laws? 3 days for driving while at .22 seems pretty light.

For a guy his size, yeah that's about a 12 pack in an hour.

A 12 pack over a night, while one certainly shouldn't drive afterwards, isn't all that bad.
12 in an hour is fricking ridiculous. That's a beer every 5 minutes.

A .22 is barely conscious
But still not even approaching Vodka Sam territory.

If I can find ways to not drive drunk, how is it professional athletes cannot seem to?

We do and it is. I want to say it is supposed to be at least 60 days for something that high.

Sounds like he was playing Power Hour.

He must have REALLY been hammered leaving that location drunk since everyone knows that corner is the most DUI giving spot in the history of the world!

.22 isnt nearly as bad as some people in this thread are making it seem. not being able to make it to the car and turn on the keys? yeah right
