Has anyone actually tried this diet? Thinking about starting it. Is it practical? Anyone see good results while on it?

Just a fancier Atkins diet

I follow it except for alcohol consumption, and sometimes my inner cracker forces me to fry things.
It can get expensive if you don't grow your own food or have a good supplier.
As far as results, nothing noticeable. I can't gain weight worth a frick, though it might help others lose it. I see no real difference in energy levels or overall well-being.

Nope. Nobody has tried it.
And get ready for a lot of dumber responses than mine

Why do you do it then?

Just eat a balanced diet of lean meat and veggies. You don't need some stupid fad diet.

Because it doesn't cost me anything.

I did it last year for lent and continued on until Christmas. I lost about 30lbs. I have been doing Paleo-lite and have been able to keep most of the weight off. I don't crossfit, so I just did it to cut carbs. Worth a shot IMHO.

not a crossfitter but I am following paleo. I am a ripped up sumbitch for sure. 40 years old, six pack abs and my wife (no pics) couldn't be happier. It's not really that difficult of a plan to follow since I ate fairly healthy prior.

It's really expensive if you're eating grass-fed protein and organic produce only. If you want to lose weight, the easiest way is No grains/No sugar which is a basic carb restricted diet. Paleo is carb-restricted to the extreme.

Is that the one where you don't eat gluten or the one where you don't jerk off? Either way it's fricking retarded.
