Help with rooting HTC ONE [Update] Completed !

I've gone through all the steps, but nothing happens when I use the unlock code. I think it is a problem with my computer not recognizing my device in fastboot mode.

Actually it says my device is unlocked. I just didn't get the notification warning after it unlocked. Is that normal?

ATT. Nevermind, I'm fully rooted on SuperUser.
I think the problem was as a used phone, it was already unblocked. I dunno.

Sounds like you were trying to unlock the bootloader not necessarily "rooting" at that point.
So check to see if your bootloader is unlocked because that is what the code from HTC does. It may not have worked because it's possible to be rooted with Superuser but still have a locked bootloader

you're right. I was bashing my head in wondering why it didn't go through the setup once I unlocked it, but it said unlocked up top all along.

I am using TWRP with LiquidSmooth. Great ROM and I had previously installed Viper.

M7. It is by far the best custom ROM. It has so many tweaks, I find something to change and when I want to put it back, I don't remember where I found the option
I got rid of HTC Sense all together and I'm using NOVA launcher(paid $4 for premium). Well worth it.

So, you think LiquidSmooth is better than Viper? I saw it runs 4.4.4. What are the major differences between Viper and Liquid if you don't mind me asking
I rooted for Hotspot capabilities. All the other stuff is just fluff and time-killing customizations(which I like).
I like the PIE and the fact that you can remove icons from the status bar. You can even auto-hide it. I only have the time, Wi-Fi, and the MIUI battery bar on mine.

M7 unlocked, rooted, super CID, s-off, viper Rom, elementalX kernel, Nova launcher with android L animations. Scrolling wallpaper with parallax effect between pages.

Anyone know how to get the lock screen to wake up when I get an email or text instead of having to hit the power button?

Also, if I flash a new rom, what is wiped and what stays? Will all my apps be there?
